My consulting services are primarily geared toward smaller companies and start-ups that don’t have a dedicated electronics designer but would benefit from occasional electronics development for products or R&D.

Services

Electrical & PCB Design

-schematic design
-includes electrical requirement calculations, component selection, and schematic creation.

-PCB Layout
-includes PCB routing, which accounts for signal integrity, thermal management, EMI mitigation, and mechanical requirements.

-fabrication, assembly, and validation
-Purchasing of circuit boards with components assembled and personally validated by me to ensure correct functionality.
Validation reports delivered upon request.

All hardware design will be done in Altium.

Firmware & Integration

-Firmware Development
-Experience interfacing with sensors, actuators, and displays.
-Experience integrating with other systems through Wifi, Bluetooth, NFC, and serial protocols.
-Software Integration
-Can provide software applications/ libraries to interface with custom electronics
-App Integration (iOS & Android)
-Experience writing libraries to integrate with custom iOS and Android hardware.

Firmware will primarily be written in C/C++.
Integration software can be written in Python, Java, Swift, or other languages as required.

“One Off Projects”

This includes electronics that are designed for a specific purpose and will require little/no additional work upon completion.

Some examples of this type of service include:
-An evaluation board used for Research & Development
-Small/Simple Circuit Boards
-Connector Boards

This type of project will be priced on a per-project basis instead of an hourly billing scheme. This will allow for better accuracy on how much will be required in order to complete a project

Discounts on services can be offered to first-time clients.

Product Development

This includes projects that require multiple iterations or continuous development.

Some examples of this type of service include:
-Writing firmware that integrates with an adapting software application
-Hardware Product Design that will require multiple iterations to support evolving requirements

This type of project will be billed on a per-hour basis with estimates on how long certain tasks will take.
