3D model of Hydroponic Controller PCB
Background
The purpose behind this project is to develop a small scale enclosed hydroponics system. The original design consisted of a graphene pad, a temperature probe, and an RP2040 to control the system. However given the lack of airflow and humidity control, this design needed revamping.

Design
For the new design, the temperature probe and graphene pad will remain. A new system for controlling humidity and a PWM fan to control airflow are also added.
Mechanical Design
In progress, but here is what needs to be accomplished:
Water storage and water level controller
Modular planter design
Sensor Mounts
PCB Design
A PCB was created with MOSFETs to control heating, humidity, and fan. An ESP32 will be used as the microcontroller for this project so all of the GPIO are connected to terminals and a couple of them are connected to the MOSFETs Gate in order to control them.
The GPIO will use PWM signals to control the gate voltages and thus operate in the triode region.
By having a proper PCB as opposed to protoboard soldering connections, it will make wire management and component integration simpler to my design.

Firmware
All firmware will be done through an ESP32
